Target TV Stand Gets A Makeover

Hey Everyone! Sorry that it’s been awhile since I’ve shared my projects; this one was just finished today! This TV stand was bought a couple of years ago but the finish hasn’t been very durable. Because it’s not a completely solid wood piece, it’s a bit challenging to refinish. Thankfully, with some quality chalk paint from Spruce Collectives, we were able to refinish it and make it fit in better with the farmhouse style this house already has! As you can see in the next few photos, the top had faded a lot from the sunshine, making it look cloudy.

Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take photos of the doors being painted, but you get the idea! After painting the base back to a lovely gray, I painted the doors with a warm, off-white. It totally changes the entire look of this piece!

After the paint at some time to “cure,” I was able to use some cheesecloth and waxed it with Minwax’s Paste Finishing Wax. This will protect it while still keeping that matte finish, the results are subtle but gorgeous!

And here it is all set up! I’m loving how cute this TV stand is!
